Jeonbuk Bank Union: "COVID-19 is tough, but let's overcome it together"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gominhyung] The Jeonbuk Bank Labor Union (Chairman Choi Kangseong) announced on the 5th that it held a 'Love Rice Delivery Ceremony' at the Jeonju Seonneomeo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center to help marginalized groups overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
This delivery ceremony was organized by the Jeonbuk Bank Labor Union to look after neighbors marginalized by the prolonged COVID-19 situation and to fulfill the role of a local bank leading the community in overcoming the crisis.
With donations collected little by little from union members, 200 bags of rice (10 kg each) were purchased and delivered through Wansan Youth Culture House, Seonneomeo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and Seowon Senior Welfare Center to help elderly living alone and low-income youth families.
