[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] President Moon Jae-in's approval rating for his administration was found to have slightly declined in a survey conducted on the 5th.
In a survey conducted by Gallup Korea from the 2nd to the 4th, 62% of respondents said President Moon was performing his duties well. This is a 3 percentage point decrease compared to the previous week. The percentage of those who evaluated his performance as poor rose by 2 percentage points to 27%.
Party support was as follows: the Democratic Party of Korea 43%, the United Future Party 17%, the Justice Party 7%, the People’s Party 4%, and the Open Democratic Party 3%. Support for the Democratic Party dropped by 4 percentage points from the previous week.
