Seoul City Announces Six Nominees for Director-Level Promotions
Actively Appointing Managers Who Achieved Results in Major Policy and Project Departments
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Seoul City announced on the 4th that it has appointed six candidates for promotion to Grade 3 director-level positions who will continuously lead the key core projects of the 7th term of the elected mayor.
Accordingly, Park Yumi, Head of Health and Medical Policy Division; Lee Bang-il, Head of Economic Policy Division; Koo Jong-won, Head of Transportation Policy Division; Lee Jin-hyung, Head of Housing Supply Division; Choi Jin-seok, Head of Urban Planning Division; and Kim Kwon-gi, Planning Officer, were announced as promotion candidates. Their new assignments will be determined in the regular personnel reshuffle effective from the 1st of next month.

Kim Tae-gyun, Director of the City Administration Bureau, said, "This Grade 3 promotion primarily considered executives from departments handling projects such as COVID-19 response, livelihood economy, and transportation," adding, "We will continue to actively select talented individuals who establish major policies like the livelihood economy and lead by example in the field."
