View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) operated a mobile screening clinic on the afternoon of the 3rd at the 28th floor of Daesung De폴리스 Knowledge Industry Center in Gasan-dong, identified as the workplace of the 17th confirmed case (51-year-old female) of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), following the occurrence of the 17th and 18th confirmed cases.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, the district dispatched over 40 medical staff and public health center employees to conduct tests on 103 employees working on the same floor as the 17th confirmed case, and all tested negative, the district announced.
The 17th confirmed case is a 51-year-old woman living with four family members in Doksan 1-dong, who was infected while working a one-day part-time job at the Bucheon Coupang Logistics Center on May 24. All four cohabiting family members tested negative.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, “Given the characteristics of Geumcheon G-Valley, where numerous buildings and workers from various places are densely concentrated, it could easily become a hotspot for widespread infectious disease transmission,” and urged, “Employees should strictly follow infectious disease prevention guidelines at work and also practice social distancing in daily life.”
