[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk Jeonju Vision University announced on the 4th that it received the highest 'A grade' as the only university in Jeonbuk in the annual evaluation of the Innovation Support Project for nationwide junior colleges conducted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
This evaluation was conducted on 87 junior colleges nationwide participating in the Innovation Support Project, and Vision University will receive approximately 4 billion KRW in project funding.
The university analyzed that the core reason for receiving the highest evaluation was its “presentation of a differentiated and proactive university operation vision centered on student core competencies linked to future industries.”
In particular, the ‘4S policy’ aimed at improving the student convenience-centered educational environment, which prioritized creating learning spaces focused on eco-friendly energy savings and student safety, also served as a major driving force for the high evaluation.
President Hong Soon-jik stated, “We are focusing the university’s capabilities on strengthening employment rates through the establishment of industry-academia-government governance to nurture future demand-tailored talents suitable for the 4th Industrial Revolution era and to enhance the university’s innovation capabilities.”
