Iksan City, First in Province to Provide Emergency Operating Funds to Daycare Centers... 'Breathed New Life!'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gom Inhyeong] Iksan City has become the first in the province to provide emergency operating expenses to daycare centers.
According to Iksan City on the 3rd, it has decided to support 185 local daycare centers, which are struggling with operations due to a decrease in children since the outbreak of COVID-19, with emergency operating expenses of 600,000 won each.
A total of 111 million won from the disaster management fund was invested in this project, and the city plans to provide the emergency operating expenses to the daycare centers within this month.
The provided operating expenses will be used for the wages of daycare childcare staff and daycare center operating costs. It is expected to prevent the closure or suspension of daycare centers caused by COVID-19, ensuring employment stability for childcare staff and stable childcare services.
