220 Bags of Eco-Friendly Rice for Vulnerable Groups and Welfare Facilities in Songpa-gu, Support for Living Facilities in 1 Company 1 Farm/Fishing Village Program
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Kim Kyung-ho) supported 220 bags (20kg each) of eco-friendly organic rice to 33 vulnerable groups and welfare facilities in Songpa-gu on the 4th to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 16th, as part of the win-win exchange between one company and one farming and fishing village, sharing activities such as support for living facilities will be carried out.
The corporation, which is promoting social contribution activities through sharing fresh food, stated that this 'COVID-19 Overcoming Eco-friendly Rice Sharing' contributes to the health improvement of the elderly, local children, and people with disabilities in the community, and supports overcoming COVID-19 through the good consumption of agricultural products with blocked sales channels.
Also, the corporation, which is continuously conducting urban-rural exchanges with one company and one farming and fishing village, will hold a COVID-19 overcoming event by supporting living facilities such as necessary home appliances and kitchen equipment for the fishing communities in Murusil, Gongju, and Taean.
