Vision University and Korea East-West Power Join Hands Tightly for Industry-Academia Cooperation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk Jeonju Vision University and Korea East-West Power Co., Ltd. have signed an industry-academia cooperation MOU following their commitment to nurturing local talent and advancing future renewable energy projects.
On the 3rd, according to Vision University, at Korea East-West Power's Ulsan headquarters, both parties explored various measures for industry-academia cooperation and mutual development, ultimately agreeing on nurturing talent suited for the 4th Industrial Revolution and developing new technologies.
On the 15th of last month, 10 people including Vision University's Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation Choi Seung-hoon and Korea East-West Power's Director of Renewable Energy Hong Dong-pyo attended the 'Joint Project Promotion Working Meeting' for tangible results of the industry-academia cooperation MOU.
The two institutions will promote detailed programs such as rooftop solar power generation support projects on campus considering domestic energy policies and soundness analysis including safety inspections of power facilities using aerial drones.
