Yanolja "All 990 Employees Test Negative for COVID-19"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Yanolja, a lodging and leisure reservation platform, announced on the 2nd that all 990 employees tested negative for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
In a press release on the same day, Yanolja stated, "Except for pregnant women and employees working in regional offices, all 990 employees tested negative and sequentially resumed normal work from the 26th to the 29th of last month."
On the 13th of last month, an employee working at an office near the headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was confirmed positive for COVID-19. Yanolja immediately sent all employees home and started working from home until the 25th. The building where the confirmed case occurred and the headquarters were closed, and disinfection work was completed.
In addition to close contacts as defined by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, a total of 95 employees who worked in the same space or had overlapping movement paths with the confirmed case were separately selected for quarantine and were advised to self-isolate for two weeks regardless of test results. The company also fully covered the testing costs at screening clinics for all employees and notified them to get tested regardless of symptoms.
