Local Companies in Suncheon Generously Donate Consecutively to the Suncheon-style Kwonbun Movement
Yeonwoo Industry and Nara Panel Co., Ltd. Donate 20 Million KRW and 10 Million KRW Each for COVID-19 Relief Fund
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The 'Suncheon-style Kwonbun Movement' to help neighbors struggling due to COVID-19 marked its 5th event on May 31, with donations from companies within Suncheon City continuing.
On June 1, Yeonwoo Industry (CEO Park Jong-in) and Nara Panel Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Myung-gyun), located in the Haeryong Industrial Complex in Suncheon, generously donated 20 million KRW and 10 million KRW respectively for the 'Kwonbun Movement'.
Yeonwoo Industry, a company installing traffic facilities, is located in Namjeong-dong, while Nara Panel Co., Ltd. is a promising company producing metal plate products and workpieces. CEO Shin Myung-gyun of Nara Panel also serves as the chairman of the Yulchon and Haeryong Industrial Complex Council, contributing to regional industrial development and job creation.
CEO Park Jong-in and CEO Shin Myung-gyun, who delivered the donations that day, stated, "Although companies are also facing difficulties due to COVID-19, we decided to participate in the movement to help vulnerable groups," and pledged that companies will actively fulfill their responsibilities in solving local difficulties and issues.
