7-Eleven Launches Large-Scale Promotion to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Seven Eleven announced on the 31st that it will conduct a large-scale customer promotion in June, the beginning of the summer season, to stimulate consumer sentiment and revitalize the daily economy. In particular, since emergency disaster relief funds can also be used at convenience stores, the event is designed to allow customers to conveniently enjoy various benefits in their daily lives.
First, Seven Eleven will hold an event throughout June at nationwide stores where customers who purchase more than 5,000 won (excluding tobacco, alcoholic beverages, and service products) will receive a Seven Eleven mobile gift certificate (2,000 won). The total number of mobile gift certificates prepared by Seven Eleven for this event is 1 million, amounting to 2 billion won in scale.
The usage method is to select the desired products, present the Seven Eleven mobile app (Seven App) accumulation barcode, and then pay for the products to receive the mobile gift certificate through the Seven App. The mobile gift certificate is issued once per person per day, and the usage period is for the entire month of July.
