Namu Technology Co., Ltd. is the seventh artificial intelligence (AI) company to settle in Gwangju.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 28th, Namu Technology signed a business agreement last month on the 28th and, one month later on this day, established the corporation 'Namu Intelligence' and opened its office.
Since its establishment in 2001, Namu Technology has focused on virtualization and grown into eight domestic and international companies. Through continuous R&D, it has secured 4th Industrial Revolution foundational technologies ranging from 5G NFV (Network Function Virtualization), cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, big data, to smart cities, making it a specialized AI company.
The establishment of 'Namu Intelligence' is expected to play a significant role in creating Gwangju's AI ecosystem, including building AI business platforms and nurturing professional talent. Furthermore, it is anticipated to greatly contribute to entrepreneurship, local job creation, and the establishment of Gwangju's status as an AI-centered city.
