Hyundai Green Food Gyeongin Center Worker Confirmed Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] A 48-year-old man who worked at Hyundai Green Food Gyeongin Center has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The man worked as a daily worker at the Bucheon Coupang logistics center from the 12th to the 17th, and then worked at Hyundai Green Food Gyeongin Center from the 24th to the 26th. The quarantine authorities closed Hyundai Green Food Gyeongin Center and, after completing disinfection work, conducted COVID-19 tests on all 598 employees.
A Hyundai Green Food official stated, "The confirmed case is a short-term part-time worker from a partner company who worked at the Coupang logistics center. The logistics center was closed immediately after the positive diagnosis, and we are currently conducting disinfection work in cooperation with health authorities."

The official added, "The part-time worker continuously wore a mask while working. About 20 to 30 people carried out item sorting (picking) in a workspace of approximately 300 pyeong, so the frequency of close contact was low. However, for the safety of the employees, a full investigation is also being conducted on about 600 employees with work experience."
