View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] An additional case of COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. It is presumed to have been contracted within the KB Life Insurance sales branch.
Dongjak-gu announced on the 28th that a man in his 20s, Mr. A, residing in Sangdo 1-dong, was confirmed as the 40th COVID-19 patient in the district.
According to the district, it is presumed that Mr. A was infected at the KB Life Insurance sales office.
Mr. A was reported to have shown symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and muscle pain starting from the 25th.
Subsequently, Mr. A visited the Dongjak-gu Public Health Center on the 27th to undergo a COVID-19 test and was confirmed positive on the same day.
Two cohabitants of Mr. A are currently under self-quarantine and are scheduled to receive COVID-19 tests on the 28th.
The district is conducting an epidemiological investigation targeting Mr. A, while proceeding with hospital bed allocation procedures and disinfecting his residence and movement paths.
Earlier, on the 27th, a COVID-19 case was confirmed at the KB Life Insurance sales office.
