[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-ik) announced on the 28th that it signed a business agreement to promote the consumption of black goats with Raeoijeong-gye Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Gyeongje), Hampyeong Branch of the Korea Goat Association (Branch Chief Seo Hoyul), and Hampyeong Branch of the Korea Black Goat Association (Branch Chief Park Jihyun).
According to the agreement, each organization and group will actively cooperate in promoting the supply and consumption of black goats, developing processed foods, and exchanging related technologies and information.
This agreement ceremony was prepared to help local black goat farmers who are experiencing difficulties due to decreased black goat consumption and falling market prices.
In particular, Raeoijeong-gye Co., Ltd. plans to purchase 50 black goats (13 million KRW) monthly from Hampyeong black goat farms and process and sell them as health functional foods in the form of extracts.

Meanwhile, prior to the agreement ceremony, Raeoijeong-gye Co., Ltd. donated 100 sets of Emperor Extract Sturgeon and 100 sets of Eel Extract, worth approximately 33 million KRW, to Hampyeong-gun to support vulnerable local groups suffering from COVID-19.
