View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Members of the Women’s Association of Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, recently held a ‘Sharing Love Side Dish Event’ to share love with neighbors in need, the association announced on the 27th.
In compliance with COVID-19 social distancing measures, about 40 members of the women’s association prepared fresh ingredients and delivered five types of homemade side dishes to 100 low-income single-parent families within Jindo-gun.
Kim Hyeong-jin, president of the Women’s Association of Jindo-gun, said, “The volunteer activity of sharing love side dishes allowed neighbors in need to feel some warmth, and it was also an opportunity for our members to reflect once again on the meaning of love and service to our neighbors.”
