SKT Supports Safe School Attendance for Elementary Students with 'ZEM'
'ZEM Plan Smart' Offers 1GB, Twice the Previous Data
Free 'EBS Data Pack' for Children Under 12 Until Year-End
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] SK Telecom announced on the 27th that it has prepared the 'Safe School Attendance with ZEM' event to ease the concerns of parents with elementary school children aged 12 and under.
This event doubles the data provided in the ZEM Plan Smart tariff plan, which targets children aged 12 and under, from the existing 500MB to 1GB, and offers the 'EBS Data Pack' service worth 6,600 KRW free of charge until the end of the year.
In line with students' lifestyle patterns, such as online classes and biweekly lessons becoming regular, from June 1st, the basic data allowance is increased to 1GB, allowing free use of data without time restrictions. To help students study without worrying about data, the EBS Data Pack provides 2GB daily and unlimited use thereafter at speeds of 3Mbps.
Among customers who purchase ZEM phones, those who newly use the 'ZEM' app will be entered into a draw to receive the 'ZEM Safe School Attendance Gift,' consisting of hygiene products such as phone disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, and cotton masks, given to 5,000 people. Applications can be made via the banner on the parent ZEM app until June 17th.
ZEM allows parents, in consultation with their children, to utilize various convenient features such as ▲smartphone usage time management ▲child location tracking ▲safe care from harmful environments. It is divided into parent and child versions, and if the child uses SK Telecom, the service can be used free of charge regardless of the parent's carrier or operating system (OS).
