Apartment Resident Sent to Prosecution for 'Security Guard Power Abuse and Assault'

The Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul announced on the 27th that resident A, who was arrested on charges of assault and intimidation against the late security guard Choi Hee-seok, was sent to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment.
A is accused of assaulting Choi, who worked as a security guard at an apartment in Ui-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, after a dispute over parking on the 21st of last month.
At the end of last month, Choi filed a police complaint against A for assault, intimidation, and other charges. Then, on the 10th of this month, Choi left a voice recording detailing the assault and verbal abuse by A before taking his own life in the apartment. A is reported to have denied most of these charges during the police investigation. A was detained on the 22nd.
