The Korea Exchange announced on the 25th that Acleda Bank, Cambodia's largest commercial bank, was listed on the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) on the 25th. The Cambodia Securities Exchange is a joint venture established in 2010 with investments from the Korea Exchange and the Cambodian government at a 45:55 ratio.
As of the end of last year, Acleda Bank is Cambodia's largest commercial bank with total assets of $6.18 billion (approximately 7.61 trillion KRW). Based on the public offering price of $4.05, the market capitalization reaches $1.75 billion (approximately 2.15 trillion KRW). This is three times the combined market capitalization of the five existing listed companies on the Cambodian stock market.
