View original image[Asia Economy International Desk Reporter] In China, new cases of COVID-19 continue to emerge, with three new confirmed infections reported.
On the 23rd, the National Health Commission of China announced that three new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported on the Chinese mainland, with no deaths. Additionally, 36 asymptomatic infections, which the Chinese government does not include in the official confirmed case statistics, were reported on the same day.
New confirmed cases in China had recorded zero on the 22nd but increased again after one day. Among the new confirmed cases on the mainland, one case was reported in Jilin Province, where cluster infections are occurring. Imported cases were reported in Shanghai and Guangdong Province, with one case each.
The total number of asymptomatic infections has risen to 371. Asymptomatic infections refer to cases where individuals test positive for COVID-19 but do not exhibit any specific symptoms.

The cumulative confirmed cases in the Greater China region outside the mainland stand at 1,551, including 1,065 in Hong Kong, 45 in Macao, and 441 in Taiwan.
