Seoul Digital Foundation Selects Next Year's Participating Companies Early Through 'Stage Eureka' Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Digital Foundation announced on the 24th that it is recruiting capable companies to participate in 'Stage Eureka,' a program to select smart city innovation companies to accompany Seoul City at CES (Consumer Electronic Show), the world's largest home appliance exhibition.
Earlier this year, Seoul City participated in CES held in Las Vegas, USA, for the first time with 20 innovative companies, attracting attention from domestic and international industries and media, showcasing Seoul's innovative companies and its status as a leading smart city to the world.
In 2021, the scale of the CES Seoul Pavilion will be more than doubled compared to this year, and the number of participating companies will be significantly expanded from 20 to 50, providing promising startups with technological capabilities an active opportunity to enter overseas markets.
The Stage Eureka event, to be held at COEX on July 9, is designed to early discover companies with excellent capabilities to participate in the CES Seoul Pavilion, intensively strengthen the capabilities necessary for overseas market entry, and increase practical business outcomes.
The recruitment fields are companies located in Seoul, established less than seven years ago, with technological capabilities in ▲smart transportation and environment ▲smart safety and welfare ▲smart economy and living. Fifteen selected outstanding companies will receive various benefits including prize money, opportunities to participate in CES, participation expenses, legal and patent consulting, and investment attraction training.
