Among the 33 selected outstanding donors, 23 received certificates of commendation from the mayor, and 10 were presented with plaques of appreciation from the Community Chest of Korea.

Mayor Lee Jung-hoon of Gangdong-gu stated, "The 2020 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign was operated for three months from November 20 last year to February 19 this year, achieving a fundraising amount of 1.619 billion KRW. This is the highest fundraising record in Gangdong-gu's history, reaching 129.5% of the target amount. Despite the difficult economic situation and the COVID-19 crisis, I deeply thank many people who practiced sharing for neighbors in need. The funds will be used valuably and effectively for vulnerable residents."
