Financial Supervisory Service to Operate Pre-Consultation Window for New Licenses in Financial Investment and Electronic Finance Sectors
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced on the 24th that it will operate a 'Pre-approval Consultation Desk' to assist prospective entrants to the financial industry and others in smoothly applying for permits and approvals.
As a follow-up measure to the 'Financial Supervision Innovation Plan' announced in August last year, the FSS established the Pre-approval Consultation Desk on the 4th of this month.
The FSS plans to prioritize operating the consultation desk for permits related to financial investment services and electronic financial services, which have high entry demand, to provide focused support in preparing documents before submitting approval applications.
According to the progress of operations, the FSS plans to gradually expand the target sectors by deploying additional dedicated personnel.
