[Photo] Opening of Gangdong Youth Startup Residency Space 'Gangdong Youth Work-Play Town'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 21st, Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the youth startup residence space 'Gangdong Youth work-play Town' (hereinafter 'Youth Town') and the comprehensive youth policy support center 'Seoul Youth Center Gangdong Orang' (hereinafter 'Gangdong Orang').
Youth Town supports residence spaces for startups less than five years old to focus on entrepreneurship, and Gangdong Orang comprehensively supports projects necessary for youth social entry by connecting youth resources.
At the opening ceremony, agreements were signed with 10 resident companies of Youth Town, as well as business agreements with Konkuk University Startup Support Group and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Job Promotion for 'Gangdong Startup Joint Cultivation' and 'Activation of Technology Startups and Regional Industrial Development in Gangdong-gu,' respectively.

Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, said, "We have established a youth hub space in Amsa and Cheonho areas, where about 40% of Gangdong-gu's youth are concentrated," and added, "Through Youth Town and Gangdong Orang, we will create an environment where competitive Gangdong-type youth companies and youth startups can thrive independently."
