[Breaking] Iran Shows Clear COVID-19 'Resurgence'... Highest Daily Cases in 46 Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] The Iranian Ministry of Health reported on the 21st (local time) at noon that the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 2,392 from the previous day, reaching 129,341.
The number of daily new confirmed cases on this day is the highest in 46 days since the 5th of last month.
Iran's daily new confirmed cases had dropped to 802 on the 2nd of this month but reversed to an upward trend, nearly tripling in three weeks, and have exceeded 2,000 for four consecutive days recently, showing a clear resurgence.
