Gyeongju City Launches 'Saenghwal Bangyeok Committee' ... Central Role in Ensuring Daily Life and Economic Activities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced that on the 21st, it held a meeting at City Hall to launch the 'Living Quarantine Committee' to maintain a lifestyle where daily life and quarantine coexist amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The committee, composed of 30 experts from various fields, will have co-chairpersons Mayor Ju Nak-young and Lee Gwan, Director of the Gyeongbuk Infectious Disease Management Support Group (Professor at Dongguk University College of Medicine). The committee will set the direction for future quarantine measures and develop a Gyeongju living quarantine model by preparing practical social distancing measures suited to local conditions.
It will also play an advisory role on matters necessary for infectious disease prevention and containment, while spreading quarantine guidelines that citizens can practice in their daily lives as a city-wide movement.
