View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Gwangyang Office of Education announced on the 21st that it conducted the ‘1st On-site Planning Public Contest Job Training’ with the participation of 30 kindergarten staff members.
The training was held under the theme ‘Early Childhood and Play-centered Curriculum Meeting through Relationship Restoration’ to support the on-site establishment of the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum.
The training program consisted of five sessions: ▲1st Practical Operation of Early Childhood and Play-centered Curriculum ▲2nd Case Studies and Practice of 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum Pilot Kindergartens ▲3rd Trust-building Circle Community Play ▲4th Practicing Empathetic Dialogue ▲5th Play Documentation and Evaluation.
Additionally, the training was conducted as a field-oriented program through discussions and debates on the concerns and difficulties faced by frontline kindergarten teachers regarding the ‘2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum’ and sharing of play class cases.
Song Hyun-ok, a teacher at Gwangyang Jungdong Elementary School Attached Kindergarten, said, “There were difficulties in implementing the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum, but it was good to have the on-site planning job training where we could share our concerns together.”
