[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Soo-young, Yangcheon District Mayor, along with members of the Airport Noise Countermeasure Committee, relevant government officials, and local council members, totaling about 30 people, discussed measures to withdraw the increase of international flights at Gimpo Airport at 2 p.m. on the 18th in the Gonggam Planning Office on the 4th floor of Yangcheon District Office.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport decided on the 15th to allocate 25 international routes on a flexible basis to 9 airlines.

In response, Kim Soo-young, Yangcheon District Mayor, stated, "It is unfair to force greater sacrifices on residents who have suffered from aircraft noise for decades," and added, "We will mobilize all possible measures to prevent the expansion of routes."
