Hankook Tire Nanum Foundation Announces Selected Organizations for '2020 Tire Nanum Support Project' First Half
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Korea Tire & Technology (hereinafter Korea Tire) social contribution foundation, Korea Tire Sharing Foundation, announced on the 18th that 426 social welfare institutions were selected as recipients for the first half of the ‘2020 Tire Sharing Support Project.’
Korea Tire Sharing Foundation’s ‘Tire Sharing Support Project’ is a representative social contribution activity reflecting Korea Tire’s core business characteristic of ‘mobility,’ implemented in collaboration with the Community Chest of Korea and the Citizens’ Coalition for Safety and Life Practice. From 2010 to 2019, a total of over 21,000 tires were provided to social welfare institutions nationwide that require improvements in mobility environments.
In the first half of the ‘2020 Tire Sharing Support Project’ call held in April, 873 social welfare institutions nationwide participated. Based on a comprehensive evaluation including the Community Chest of Korea’s institution operation assessment, the usage status and purpose of the target vehicles, and the degree of tire wear and damage, a total of 426 institutions were selected as recipients.
The selected institutions can make advance reservations for the dealership and date to replace tires through 'T Station.com,' T Station’s online-offline integrated service platform, by June 20, and then visit to receive the service. Basic services such as replacement of worn tires and wheel alignment inspection, along with light maintenance services, will be provided to the institutions.
