Wadiz Develops Data-Driven 'Maker Trust Index' Service
Providing Comprehensive Information on Makers Leading Projects
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Wadiz (CEO Shin Hye-sung) announced on the 18th that it has developed a 'Maker Trust Index' that allows verification of the trustworthiness of 'makers' conducting funding projects.
The Maker Trust Index is a service that visually displays the trustworthiness of makers through reputation, communication, and popularity indicators within funding projects. This helps funding participants access key information related to makers and enables them to review projects from a more multidimensional perspective.
This service was established to strengthen communication between makers and supporters throughout the entire process from opening a funding project to its success and subsequent delivery, aiming to operate the service more transparently. The Maker Trust Index created for each project will be updated daily based on key data collected from information about each maker and supporter activities.

So far, Wadiz has implemented a 'Funding Refund Policy' to protect supporters, and through 'Space Wadiz,' which recently opened in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, it allows people to directly experience online funding offline. Shin Hye-sung, CEO of Wadiz, stated, "The Maker Trust Index was developed by combining the data and know-how accumulated at Wadiz. Unlike commerce, communication before, during, and after funding is all important in Wadiz funding. Through this index, supporters can distinguish which makers are making efforts, and Wadiz expects to objectively monitor project risks from a platform perspective."
