Gyeongbuk Province Records Zero Local COVID-19 Infections for 13 Consecutive Days
No Confirmed Cases Except for 2 Overseas Entrants in Gyeongsan Since the 4th

On the 12th and 14th, one overseas entrant each in the Gyeongsan area was confirmed positive, but no local infections have occurred since the 4th.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 17th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases remains at 1,326, the same as the previous day. There have been no new deaths, keeping the total at 58.
No patients were discharged the previous day, maintaining the recovery rate at 91.1%, with 1,208 fully recovered. Currently, 60 confirmed patients from the Gyeongbuk area are undergoing isolation treatment at 12 hospitals nationwide, including the National Medical Center.

By cause of confirmed cases: Shincheonji 473, Cheongdo Daenam Hospital 116, Bonghwa Pureun Nursing Home 68, Gyeongsan Seo Nursing Hospital 65, Yecheon local infection 41, pilgrimage 29, Milal 25, overseas inflow 24. The remaining 485 cases are still under investigation.
