View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) is making thorough preparations to ensure there are no disruptions in the emergency disaster relief fund application process as the government's emergency disaster relief fund local government online and offline applications begin on the 18th.
Since the emergency disaster relief fund inquiry started on the 4th, the district has formed an "Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Task Force" to oversee operations such as call center management, manpower support, and progress monitoring.
With the local government applications for the emergency disaster relief fund starting on the 18th, the district held training for support staff on the 15th at the district office auditorium.
The support staff will assist with on-site applications and civil service responses at each community service center starting from the 18th.
Each card company is accepting emergency disaster relief fund applications via their call centers and automated response systems (ARS) by phone from the 15th to the 31st.
This measure follows government guidelines to assist elderly people unfamiliar with online systems and digitally marginalized groups.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, "We will ensure that residents experience no inconvenience in applying for and receiving government disaster relief funds through thorough preparation," and added, "We hope that residents struggling due to COVID-19 can find some stability in their lives through the emergency disaster relief fund."
