COVID-19 Case Reported in Seodaemun-gu
Visiting Sinchon 'Damotori5' (General Restaurant Allowing Dancing) on the Night of the 5th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The 22nd confirmed case of COVID-19 in Seodaemun-gu was reported on the 15th.
The individual visited 'Damotori5' in Sinchon (a general restaurant where dancing is permitted) during the night of the 5th of this month.
This confirmed case is a man in his 20s residing in Changcheon-dong, Seodaemun-gu. Since the 12th of this month, he experienced symptoms such as mild fever, chills, muscle pain, and loss of smell, and on the 14th, he visited the Seodaemun-gu Public Health Center's screening clinic for testing.
On the morning of the 15th, around 8 a.m., he was confirmed positive and was transferred at 2:30 p.m. to Seoul Medical Center in Jungnang-gu, a nationally designated isolation hospital bed.
The Seodaemun-gu Public Health Center conducted disinfection around the confirmed patient's residence and disclosed his movement path on the district's official website.

'Damotori5' in Sinchon was also visited by confirmed cases number 21, 22, and 23 from Yongsan-gu, who had been to clubs in Itaewon. They stayed there from 9:40 p.m. on May 3rd until 3 a.m. on May 4th, and again from 11 p.m. on May 5th until 3 a.m. on May 6th.
