Telegram 'Juhonggeulssi' and 'Wanjangbang' Admins' Warrants Dismissed
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The arrest warrant for a man in his 20s who was active as an administrator in the group chat room 'Juhonggeulssi,' which shared personal information of those involved in the Telegram Nth Room case, and the 'Wanjangbang,' a room for sharing sexual exploitation materials, was dismissed by the court.
Won Jeong-sook, Chief Judge of the Seoul Central District Court, dismissed the arrest warrant on the 14th for Song Mo (25), who is accused of violating the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles against Sexual Abuse, among other charges.
Chief Judge Won explained the reason for dismissing the warrant, stating, "This case is different from the crimes in the Nth Room and Doctor's Room, where victims were threatened to produce and distribute sexual exploitation materials."
He added, "Considering the extent of the suspect's involvement as an administrator, not the creator of Juhonggeulssi, and taking into account that the suspect has attended all investigations and court proceedings without fail and has a fixed residence, it is difficult to recognize the necessity and reasonableness of detaining the suspect at this stage."
Song is accused of possessing about 120 obscene materials, including child and adolescent sexual exploitation materials created and shared by Jo Joo-bin (24), who operated the 'Doctor's Room' and produced hundreds of sexual exploitation obscene materials on Telegram.
Earlier, on the 12th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Digital Sex Crime Special Investigation Unit applied for an arrest warrant against Song for violating the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles against Sexual Abuse, among other charges.

During the investigation of the Doctor's Room, the police regarded Song as an accomplice of Jo and proceeded with the investigation, but the investigation revealed that he was active as an administrator of a separate sexual exploitation obscene material chat room.
