"Disaster Relief Fund Applications Available by Phone Starting the 15th"…Call Center and ARS Reception
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] From the 15th, applications for the emergency disaster relief fund provided by the central government can be made through card companies' call centers and automated response systems (ARS).
This measure is interpreted as a response to criticisms that elderly people and others cannot apply for the emergency disaster relief fund via card companies' websites or mobile applications (apps).
The ARS application hours are from 12:30 AM to 11:30 PM. The call center reception hours are generally from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but vary by company.
