HiteJinro Donates 20 Million Won to Gwangju Love Fund
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sang-won, Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 14th that HiteJinro (CEO Kim In-gyu) donated 20 million won to the Gwangju Love Fund on the 13th.
The donation ceremony held at Gwangju City Hall was attended by Gwangju Mayor Lee Yong-seop, Gwangju Community Chest of Korea Chairman Han Sang-won, Gwangju Honor Society Chairman Koo Je-gil, HiteJinro Regional Manager Choi Soo-ho, Gwangju Branch Manager Kim Sung-jun, and Special Sales Gwangju Branch Manager Lee Yong-gi.
The donated 20 million won was accumulated from the sales amount of Terra, Chamisul, and Jinro Is Back in the first quarter of this year (1 won per bottle) and will be used through the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea to support the underprivileged in the Gwangju area.
