Damyang-gun Accepting Applications for 'Information and Communication Assistive Device Support Project' Until the 19th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 14th that it is accepting applications for the 'Information and Communication Assistive Device Support Project,' which is conducted for people with disabilities who have difficulty accessing and utilizing information and communication, until the 19th of next month.
The eligible applicants are residents registered in the county who are registered as disabled under the Disabled Welfare Act and those who have been rated with a disability grade among national veterans.
Applicants will be selected after screening following application submission, and the government will support up to 80% of the assistive device product price, with the individual bearing only 20%.
Basic livelihood security recipients and low-income disabled persons can purchase with a 90% discount.

The application period is until the 19th of next month, and applications can be submitted by visiting the Information and Communication Assistive Device website or by bringing the required documents to the County Office's Autonomous Administration Division and each eup/myeon office, or by mail.
