CJ OliveNetworks 'One Order' Transforms Jeju O'Sulloc Tea Museum into 'Untact' Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] CJ OliveNetworks announced on the 14th that it has introduced its automated store solution 'One Order' at the Jeju O'Sulloc Tea Museum.
One Order is CJ OliveNetworks' automated store operation system that utilizes various devices such as kiosks, tablet PCs, mobile phones, and smartwatches to streamline in-store service operations including managing waiting customers, menu ordering, staff calling, and payment.
The Jeju O'Sulloc Tea Museum, which receives an average of 1.8 million visitors annually, recently adopted One Order to eliminate long waiting lines and allow customers to enjoy O'Sulloc without direct face-to-face contact with staff, amid the spread of contactless consumption culture due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The system applied at O'Sulloc includes kiosks that allow ordering and payment in one step and an Order Display System (ODS) that enables the kitchen to check order details in real time. After improving operational efficiency through these, additional systems suitable for the store situation, such as mobile ordering via QR code, will be introduced.
O'Sulloc can reduce overall order time and efficiently utilize manpower through kiosks, and the ODS supports quick communication among kitchen staff, floor staff, and customers, enabling effective service response.
In particular, the kiosks are equipped not only with menu ordering and payment functions but also with a feature that calculates and informs customers of the waiting time until menu pickup, allowing customers to use their time efficiently after ordering. Additionally, an integrated store management system is provided to manage kiosks, ODS, and POS systems collectively.
O'Sulloc is expected to maximize sales by efficiently allocating staff and enhance customer satisfaction through smart service experiences that reflect trends.
