49 Jeonnam Educators Who Visited Itaewon All Test Negative

According to the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education on the 13th, in relation to the Itaewon COVID-19 impact, to block any possible infection factors, they identified and tested 34 native speakers and 15 staff members from Jeonnam who visited the Itaewon area from the 29th of last month to the 6th of this month, and all tested negative.

A representative from the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education stated, “Most of the native speakers and staff who visited the area were found to have only visited cafes, restaurants, or taken walks,” and added, “We plan to continue promoting strict adherence to social distancing in daily life among all school members to prevent further spread of COVID-19.”
