Honam University, Departmental Job Club Orientation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Honam University Career Center (Director Choi Woosung) announced on the 13th that it held an online orientation using Zoom on the 12th for faculty advisors and representative students of the '2020 Academic Year Departmental Job Clubs.'
At the event, various measures were presented to safely conduct job club activities despite the COVID-19 situation, and guidance was provided on club operation methods and settlement-related matters.
The 'Departmental Job Clubs' support activities that share job information and enhance job understanding among enrolled students who are interested in the same job and preparing for employment.
A total of 202 students from 20 departments, including the Department of Hotel Management, are participating, and up to 1 million KRW in activity funds is provided per club.

Additionally, more than two activities per month are conducted, such as job-related mentoring special lectures, company visits related to the job, and job study sessions, aiming to strengthen employment capabilities through self-directed club activities.
