Chilsung Cider Launches New 'Flavors' After 70 Years: Refreshing Cheonggyul and Peach Juice-Filled Cider Released

Chilsung Cider Peach and Cheonggyul commemorate the 70th anniversary of Chilsung Cider, which was introduced in 1950, and reflect consumers' diverse desires and expectations for Korea's representative carbonated drink, Chilsung Cider.
Through consumer surveys and product research on the domestic cider market, Lotte Chilsung Beverage identified consumer demand for new flavored ciders in addition to existing extended products such as strong carbonation and low calorie. To present a unique taste by adding domestic fruit flavors while maintaining Chilsung Cider's clear and clean image with its refreshing carbonation, various fruits were tested through repeated consumer surveys, resulting in the selection of peach and cheonggyul.
Chilsung Cider Cheonggyul, the first RTD carbonated beverage to use unripe Jeju green tangerine juice, uses citrus fruits similar to the original product to maintain product attributes while delivering a more refreshing taste. Chilsung Cider Peach is made with domestic peach juice, offering a sweet flavor familiar and preferred by all ages, allowing consumers to enjoy a distinctive Chilsung Cider experience.
Both products provide a strong carbonation sensation identical to the original, delivering a refreshing feeling that instantly clears up any discomfort in the stomach. To convey Chilsung Cider's clear and clean brand attributes, the contents are made transparent just like the original, and to embrace eco-friendly values, transparent PET bottles are used along with a non-adhesive "eco tear line" on the label for easy removal.
