Police Obtain Arrest Warrants for Telegram 'Juhonggeulssi' and 'Wanjangbang' Operators
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The police have requested an arrest warrant for a man in his 20s who was one of the administrators of the group chat room "Juhonggeulssi," where personal information of those involved in the Nth Room case was shared on Telegram, and the "Wanjangbang," a room for sharing sexual exploitation materials.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Special Investigation Unit for Digital Sex Crimes announced on the 12th that they have applied for an arrest warrant for A (25) on charges of violating the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse, among other offenses.
A is suspected of possessing about 120 obscene materials, including child and juvenile sexual exploitation materials created and shared by Jo Joo-bin (24), who operated the "Doctor's Room" on Telegram and produced hundreds of sexually exploitative obscene materials.
Additionally, A was one of the administrators of Juhonggeulssi and Wanjangbang and is known to have used the nickname "Mihee."
