Nongshim Kellogg Appoints Jeong In-ho as New CEO and President
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Nongshim Kellogg announced on the 11th that it has appointed Jung In-ho, head of Kellogg's Taiwan and Hong Kong branches, as the new CEO and President.
CEO Jung In-ho graduated from Hanyang University and joined Yuhan-Kimberly in 1996, where he gained practical sales experience. He later served as Sales Director at Beiersdorf, a German cosmetics company known for famous brands such as Nivea and Eucerin, and at Electrolux, a Swedish comprehensive home appliance company, developing broad experience and expertise in business model development, planning, and services.
Jung In-ho joined Nongshim Kellogg's sales team in 2012 and demonstrated outstanding capabilities in sales while serving as Sales Director and Sales Executive Director in 2014. Since 2018, he has overseen business operations as head of Kellogg's Taiwan and Hong Kong branches, earning recognition for his excellent leadership. He will now oversee operations in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. He is regarded as the ideal candidate, possessing extensive domestic market experience gained while leading Nongshim Kellogg's business, leadership demonstrated in managing the Taiwan and Hong Kong markets, and the high trust of Kellogg's headquarters.
CEO Jung said, "Among Kellogg's various global markets, I am very pleased and honored to be appointed as CEO of Nongshim Kellogg in the Korean market, which is receiving great expectations for its high growth potential." Nongshim Kellogg was established in March 1981 as a joint venture between Kellogg and Nongshim. In September 1983, it established the Anseong factory and produced the country's first corn flakes. Since its inception, it has steadily grown every year and introduced various products. Major products include Protein Granola, Chex Choco, Corn Frost, Real Granola, Special K, and Almond Flake. Since 2016, it has expanded its portfolio with cereal bars, and in 2019, it launched shake products, further diversifying its product range.
