Minsaeng Party: "Kim Tae-nyeon, Is the Formation of a Negotiation Group by the Korean Party Unfair?... A Self-Serving Interpretation"
"Suspicious Whether It Is Just a Pretext to Withdraw the Merger with the Citizen Party"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 11th, the Minsaeng Party criticized, “Kim Tae-nyeon, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, called the possibility of the Future Korea Party forming an independent negotiation group a foul play,” and asked, “What is the popular will in the general election that Floor Leader Kim mentioned? Must the satellite parties, the Together Citizens’ Party and the Future Korea Party, unconditionally merge with their parent parties?”
Jung Woo-sik, spokesperson for the Minsaeng Party, said in a statement on the same day, “How can it be explained that the Democratic Party copied the satellite party formation, which it criticized as a trick by the United Future Party?”
Spokesperson Jung pointed out, “Many citizens will not agree with the current trickery of the Korea Party,” and added, “Nevertheless, it will be difficult for Floor Leader Kim to gain much public agreement by interpreting the convention of forming standing committees in the National Assembly in a self-serving manner.”

Spokesperson Jung expressed suspicion, saying, “Rather, under the pretext of the popular will in the general election, is the Democratic Party trying to withdraw from the merger with the Citizens’ Party and build a justification for another foul play by forming an independent negotiation group?” and stated, “In short, the public no longer wants to see the Democratic Party and the United Future Party’s dogfight-style division of vested interests.”
