Jeonnam Suncheon Medical Center: All 'COVID-19 Patients from Daegu Region' Fully Recovered and Discharged
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The last COVID-19 patient from Daegu being treated at Suncheon Medical Center in Jeonnam has been declared fully recovered and discharged.
According to Jeonnam Province on the 11th, at the farewell event held on the 9th, Jeonnam Deputy Governor Song Sang-rak, officials from Jeonnam Province and Suncheon City, and medical staff including the director of Suncheon Medical Center gathered to congratulate Mr. A, who was discharged in good health.
Mr. A said, “Thanks to many people waving their hands to welcome me on the first day at Suncheon Medical Center, I gained a lot of strength during the treatment,” and added, “I deeply thank the medical staff who devotedly treated me and the officials from Jeonnam Province and Suncheon City.”
On March 13, 30 confirmed patients from Daegu were transferred to Suncheon Medical Center; among them, 2 were moved to Jeonnam National University Hospital for treatment and discharged, while the remaining 28 received inpatient treatment at Suncheon Medical Center.
With the discharge of this last Daegu patient, all 30 patients transferred to Jeonnam from Daegu have fully recovered and returned home in good health.
