It is expected that budget-conscious consumers who want to use the latest 5G phones at affordable rates will have more options.
The Korea Post Service Headquarters will sell eight types of budget phone 5G plans through the online post office starting from the 11th. These post office budget phone 5G plans are online-exclusive products and will not be sold at post office counters.
Depending on the plan, data is provided up to a maximum of 200GB, allowing customers to choose specialized products that suit their needs.
The cheapest plan is 37,400 KRW per month (5G Smile Basic), providing 9GB of data. Plans offering 200GB of data are sold at around 60,000 KRW per month. The post office budget phone 5G plans have no separate usage period contracts. Voice calls (additional calls are separately limited) and text messages are included in the basic fee.
