Shinhan Card "Apply for 'Emergency Disaster Relief Fund' from the 11th"
Available for application on Shinhan Card website and Shinhan Payfan
Existing card benefits such as point accumulation remain unchanged
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 10th that the emergency disaster relief fund for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) can be applied for through various channels, including the Shinhan Card website.
First, applications can be made through the Shinhan Card website (PC, mobile) and Shinhan PayFAN by going through mobile phone authentication or card authentication procedures. It is also possible via a separate application page and application QR code.
In addition, utilizing Shinhan Financial Group's network, applications can be made on the websites and apps of Shinhan Bank, Shinhan Investment Corp., Shinhan Life Insurance, Orange Life, and Shinhan Savings Bank. From the 18th, applications will also be accepted at Shinhan Bank branches.
Shinhan Card plans to send real-time text messages indicating the applied amount and remaining balance when using the emergency disaster relief fund. This can also be checked through the website and Shinhan PayFAN.
Even when using the emergency disaster relief fund, existing card services such as point accumulation and affiliated card discounts will still apply. Also, the amount used will be included in the previous month's performance criteria.
Meanwhile, the emergency disaster relief fund can be applied for from 7 a.m. on the 11th until May 31. The emergency disaster relief fund is granted to the Shinhan credit card or check card owned by the individual, so it can be used immediately without separate card designation registration (however, during the first week of application from May 11 to 15, applications are possible according to a 5-day rotation system based on the last digit of the resident registration number's birth year). The emergency disaster relief fund operates separately from the personal credit limit granted according to the individual's personal credit. Regardless of the type of card held, it can be used with all of the individual's Shinhan Cards.
