Gyeongnam Office of Education Announces Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams on the 23rd: "Please Wear a Mask"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education will implement measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in relation to the '1st Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduation Equivalency Examination' scheduled for the 23rd.
On the 8th, the Gyeongnam Office of Education announced the test locations and important notes for examinees on its website, stating that on the day of the exam, access to the test sites will be strictly controlled for outsiders, and examinees will be allowed entry only after confirming mask-wearing, checking for fever, and respiratory symptoms.
Additionally, those showing abnormal health symptoms on the exam day are encouraged to take the second session if possible, and in unavoidable cases, they will be allowed to take the exam in a separate test room. Examinees who are hospitalized or quarantined due to COVID-19 infection will be restricted from taking the exam.
An education office official urged, "Since the exam operation differs from usual due to COVID-19, please familiarize yourself with the test locations and precautions announced on the website to avoid any disadvantages."
