Vice Chairman Jeong Yong-jin of Shinsegae Joins the 'Flower Bucket Challenge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae Group announced on the 8th that Vice Chairman Jeong Yong-jin participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' campaign to help flower farmers struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Vice Chairman Jeong plans to deliver flowerpot sets composed of foliage plants with air-purifying effects to 25 medical institutions and public health centers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
Vice Chairman Jeong said, "I hope this will be a small help to flower farmers who are facing difficulties and to the medical staff dedicated to the local community," and added, "All employees of Shinsegae Group will do their best efforts to overcome the crisis and return to daily life."
Earlier, Emart supported 50 child care facilities nationwide with 'spring flowerpot sets' consisting of air-purifying plants through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation on March 26.
