On the 7th at 2 p.m., the Samsung Compliance Committee held its 5th regular meeting at the Samsung Life Seocho Tower in Seocho-dong, Seoul, and stated in a press release, "We meaningfully evaluate Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong's direct response and his expression of the will to realize the value of compliance."
The Compliance Committee stated, "We agreed that specific implementation plans, such as establishing a sustainable management system that prevents violations of compliance obligations, effectively guaranteeing the three labor rights, and practical measures to restore the trust of civil society, must be supported," and added, "We have requested the related companies to prepare more detailed improvement plans soon."
